Landmark contract awarded with AMSProp
GDM are delighted to announce that they have been appointed by Amsprop for the M, E & PH services design for the redevelopment of Aldermans House & 117-121 Bishopsgate.
Amsprop desire is to create a unified scheme which is befitting the important entry point to the City of London via Liverpool Street Station. To provide high quality retail at ground floor and basement and an iconic office building to offer the identifiable headquarter accommodation for higher profile, medium size companies. The redevelopment scheme aims to provide a revised ground floor offering attractive environment, improved pedestrian circulation around the building through to the church gardens and connecting well defined city pedestrian routes.
The new building will be approximately 60,000ft² with a projected BREEAM rating of Excellent. The projected cost plan is circa £22 million
The design team comprises of Tower 8 as PM’s and QS’s, Rolfe Judd as Architects and Waterman’s on Structure.
Works are due to commence on in September 2014 with an anticipated completion date in October 2016.
